Program Memory Allocation Questions
 

Running the 3.35 OEM ROM, I looked at my Program Memory (Start -> Settings -> System -> Device Information -> Hardware) and have some questions.

It is a fact that the Mogul has 64MB of program memory. Given that fact, why then do I see the following info:

OS Program Memory: 17.02MB
Program Memory: 46.98MB
Used: 25.29MB
Free: 21.70 (Some programs are running, though not much at all)

Under the Memory app in Settings, a slightly different view is presented.

Program Memory
---------------
Total: 46.98MB
In Use: 25.20MB
Free: 21.78MB

If WM is using 17.02MB, then what is using an additional 25.20MB? (Or 25.29MB?)

In theory, after accounting for the 17.02MB used by WM, we *should* have 46.98MB free for whatever programs we load.

Why is this not the case?
