Sprint Navigation Question
Is there any way to import all contacts into sprint navigation so you don't have to type in addresses by hand all the time. It seems that the contacts could be imported into the "favorites" and used from there.
Any Help? |
Re: Sprint Navigation Question
I haven't seen a way to do that, but there are other options for that, you can use their web site and type all your addresses in advance and just "Refresh Favorites" and they will be loaded to you phone I tried it and woorks fine, the second is to use the "Speak it" option I haven't tried that so I can't tell you if it works or not!

Re: Sprint Navigation Question
I agree this feature is lacking badly. Even Google Maps lets you "Locate in Google Maps" when you pull up a contact. Another annoying thing is when you enter addresses they don't sort alphabetically!! But rather, the order in which you enter them, I believe - how queer is that? Now you can pick "A-C", "D-F", etc. to cut down the search time a little when online, but they're still not listed in alphabetical order. So even though I entered mine "Last Name, First Name" I still have to hunt for the person or place I want. Seems like this would be a no-brainer....but...maybe i'll send an e-mail to dan@sprint.com hehe
