Yahoo! Go 2.0 unable to acquire GPS position
Now that we have the GPS enabled in the new ROM I tried to use the Map in the Yahoo! GO 2.0 but it says "Yahoo! Go is currently unable to acquire your GPS position" so I guess this is a Yahoo! Go problem because I use Google Maps and Sprint NAV and Windows Live Maps and all can detect the GPS!!!
so any one else tried it? and did you get the same or different result? |

I haven't tried it with the new ROM yet, but the same thing that is happening to you happened to me when I tried to use it with the leaked GPS ROM. Good luck |
Re: Yahoo! Go 2.0 unable to acquire GPS position
you have to use a gps proxy software such as gpsgate or a free one known as gpsproxy. these programs forward the gps port to their own virtual port and yahoo go is more compatible with that port/driver.

A more permanent solution is to use AstroGPSLauncher to start Yahoo Go: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=364199 |
