Has anyone had the screen turn off like me? Also it seems that I track a lot more AP then what is synced online. Has anyone noticed this? I look at the tracked ap then compare the number to what is updated online when I sync. The online number seems low.

yes, I tried replying earlier, but site/connection issues... now I don't have time to fully explain. change the power settings in navizon &or phone.
Also it will only count new ap's on the server, or at lest new to YOU.

I've done some more intentional problem solving on Navizon, where it stops recording information, stops syncing, freezes when you try to shut it down requiring a restart to get rid of it.

It seems to happen only when it is running in the background. I kept it open and visible as much as I could all day today. It worked just fine while I had it as the main program open, watching it in real time working (scanning every 2 seconds using CameAware buddy). The moment a call came in, or for some reason I needed to bring another program to the foreground it locked up.

I referred you NUGUY, I drive around quite a bit for work engagements so you should get some nice referrals.

Tov is right. I have a hard time doing anything too scientific as i'm trying to drive also.. but I have also noticed that times it doesn't freeze, navizon is in the foreground.

also I was suggesting that maybe disabling navizon's pwr mgmt or lowering it to medium/low. I personally haven't played with all the different combo's too much, but I do have the phone set to NOT power off while plugged in.

with my current setup I have noticed alot of microsoft error reporting popups.. not sure if it's a tweak or what I did to cause this, but I belive it to be tied to navizon, possibly causing the freezing, but since I can't see what's going on while frozen it's hard to say.

Well my Navizon freezes when it and cameraware buddy are the only programs running. So the only issue isn't it running in the background. But I do notice that I can't make phone calls without closing the program because it locks up most the time. It just pisses me off that the program crashes when nothing else is going on.

It always seems to me that Navizon needs about 1.5 minuts to stop properly.

So I get to my destination sync and turn off wifi. Then toss my phone in my jacket pocket, Navizon still running and all, wait a couple minutes, then stop Navizon, then turn off wifi, wait a couple more minutes and then close Navizon.

It shouldn't have to be done this way, but I hardly ever have Navizon crash when I close it this way.

I think it takes a minute to close threads and/or processes down properly.

As a side note, I am running nueromM with radio 3.42.50 on verizon, w/ pri 1.35_002 & prl 51143 I heavily cleaned out the registry while it was fresh.

Hope this helps someone...

You wrote "stop wifi" two different times in your directions. Which is it? Also what version do you use?

Do any of the older versions offer good ap and cell pickups? 3.5.1.3 and 3.5.1.2 still drive me crazy.
