TeleNav Blocking Incoming Calls?

I understand the need for the GPS to function properly, but all of my calls have been going to voicemail while I use this feature. Is this just the norm to expect?

If you are in a 1X area, then you won't receive any calls while using the data connection.

isosdctfp is correct. If you are in a 1X area, AND you are on a data connection, all of your calls will be sent to VM. However, if you are on a EvDO connection (should say EV on your top on your Mogul), you will still be able to rcv calls. Your data connection will be turned into a dormant state.

This seems so stupid. I have call waiting. I can talk to two people at once. Why does it work this way? Since the data call is using only one line, it seems like this is a mere software fix for our carriers.

Its the way the Sprint network is setup. Verizon was this way, but they made some changes on their end (or so I read) and calls can come through on 1x with them.
