Hey,

There's a lot of brands out there...any recommendations for a hard case company?

Well, not necessarily hard...but what I'm looking for is something that will allow me to keep my phone in its case when I use it. Even better if the keyboard can slide out.

I was thinking something along the lines of a flip case perhaps?

My old ppc case was a seidio, nice leather case. What about for clipping on my belt and screen protecting?

i don't use a holster, i usually just either carry in my pocket or my workbag. i use the screen protector that came with it.

I have the Seidio rubberized case and holster too. I really like it, except the metal pin holding the top clasp has already fallen out once, causing my phone to pop out. The pin pops out and slides back in very easily. I've had the case and holster for less than a month, and I have to find out from Seidio if this issue is normal for this holster (which is very bad), or if it's unique to the one I have.

I also have a Mobi holster which I bought for $5 from eBay which works very well for the unskinned Mogul, but it doesn't offer any protection from falls in the exposed areas.

Neither one is available until Seidio gets off it's A$$ and actually makes any of them available in anything more than fairy tale land.

Try to order them.

You'll get they're not available in quantities of ONE (1), if you can't order ONE then what can you order, quanties of 1/2? Maybe then, their lame system will actually work properly.

Sorry, I'm annoyed, they've been promising these cases for MONTHS AND MONTHS, then they post that they're available for pre-order, does that mean we have to sacrifice a chicken or a goat to order these things pre-order because their lame website can't do what their lame salespeople promise?

I agree with this man.

I am annoyed too at how long this has taken and how unprofessional seidio seems to be at times.

Sigh what can we do though, dont seem to have too many options when it comes to products for this phone.

sounds like i got lucky with them... i had my case in about 1 week from when i ordered it.

I'll write up a review of a rubberized hard case off ebay, that looks just like the one on siedio, when it arrives.

sanjsrik - I've had this case for months now, and I absolutely love it. Are they having supply issues now or something?

i got the siedio case off ebay and it kicks ***... i tried one of the knock off types and was very unhappy with it.. it would not stay on the phone after just over a month of use... heres the link for them on ebay for less then siedio wants off there site

Two Questions:

1. Anybody have a leather pouch that works with the Seidio slim cases other than the $40 pouch they offer?

2. Anybody have and like the crystal clear slim case?

My rubberized knock off case just arrived. Seems very solid so far. You can tell it was air-brushed with nice rubber coating, since the inside does not have any.

Less than half the price of the Seido - Worst case, it's not that big of a loss.

Its all about the seidio case for this guy too. Thats all I use is seidio. Its a little bit more but well worth the extra money to keep your gear nice. Nothing wrong with knock offs untill they fail then you have to spend more money. If ya can do it right the first time.

I think those guys are complaining about the lack of availability of the new Seidio that accommodates an expanded battery.

I am like you...on the recommendations that I saw here (specifically Lsme420's frequent mentions) I ordered a case and holster (standard battery) and had 'em in a week.

Regarding that pin popping out...I think you just got a "special" one bro'. I have had my holster for about 3 weeks and haven't yet had that problem. The case and holster are well made. All in all an excellent investment in my opinion!

ok just recieved my seidio case. As far as looks A+. Fitment A+. Cons very hard to fit in the provide holster, i can do it but its an effort to take out and put in. Also the is some drag when sliding the unit up. Ill give this product a B-

I really like the case. I e-mailed Seidio about the pin issue, so hopefully they'll take care of that.

i just ordered the seido case off ebay as well. might as well save the 4.xx

Hope they are really Seido and not the knock offs branded with Sedio "Made in China" stamp.
