How to delete messages?

Alright so every time I try to delete my messages in my inbox and outbox my phone freezes up, how can I delete all of them? There's about 7000 in the inbox and 5000 in the sent items

7000 wtf, thats like a years worth of e-mail for me, man i need more friends lol

from the inbox
menu- tools- empty deleted items

i would go in and delete them from your actual e-mail account or move them into a new folder that you do not have set to sync.
then i would check the settings on the account to make sure you are not set to sync and download old e-mails everytime you push. as you go through the set up there is an option to only go back three days on the emails.

If you want to quickly delete ALL of the messages sent and received on that account, delete the account off of the Mogul and then re-set it up.

Delete only a few at a time, or let it delete all overnight, as 7K messages will take a while.

It might be faster to back up everything, do a hard reset, and not restore the messages.

you can go into the text and then go to menu->tools->clear texts its gonna take forever but after it does just let it set there for awhile and then soft reset.
