dslreports vs speedtest.net
 

i recently did a speed test on two different websites and got 650 on dslreports and then i tried speedtest.net and got 1250. does anyone know who is more accurate

A lot of it just depends on where the test is run and how it is run. In a way it shows just how variable things like dl/ul speeds can be. Just because you find a test that shows you getting some sick speed doesn't mean you will see those kinds of speeds every time you download something. Sometimes you will see really fast speeds but other times you might see pretty mediocre speeds.
