startkey in the Windows/StartUp folder

Did a search and couldn't find much on this. Anyone know what this service is for and if its okay to take it out of the StartUp folder. I know the poutlook is for email and should remain in there but I am not sure about the startkey. If its not needed that's 26 bytes I can save.

That 26 bytes is just a shortcut to the actual service its running. Its using more RAM than anything.

It sounds like a driver to me. Perhaps keyboard, not sure. Either way I would leave it alone.

Yeah I am not too sure on it, it wasn't on there before the ROM update. I did remove it and everything seemed to work just fine but I placed it back just to be safe until someone can clarify what it is actually.

I believe its "smartskey" you are referring to, but I am unsure of what it actually does; was wondering myself.

i have that too and don't have the newest rom so i think that it's something that i have installed...the only new things that i installed recently and i think it may be one of these...is zoomboard(don' think it's that) and sip change(i think its that)...i had another think to make zoomboard my permanent sip but that startkey didn't show up then...it came after i changed and started using sip change...
