startkey in the Windows/StartUp folder
Did a search and couldn't find much on this. Anyone know what this service is for and if its okay to take it out of the StartUp folder. I know the poutlook is for email and should remain in there but I am not sure about the startkey. If its not needed that's 26 bytes I can save.

Re: startkey in the Windows/StartUp folder
That 26 bytes is just a shortcut to the actual service its running. Its using more RAM than anything.
It sounds like a driver to me. Perhaps keyboard, not sure. Either way I would leave it alone. |
Re: startkey in the Windows/StartUp folder
Yeah I am not too sure on it, it wasn't on there before the ROM update. I did remove it and everything seemed to work just fine but I placed it back just to be safe until someone can clarify what it is actually.

I believe its "smartskey" you are referring to, but I am unsure of what it actually does; was wondering myself.
