Oddly enough, the people I see the most with 6800s & their GSM counterparts are the soccer mom types. I see them pushing a twin stroller with one hand & yakking on their mogul with the other hand. Its very wierd, like seeing a goth with a pink razr. I live in Norman, OK & I rarely see anyone but yuppies & businessmen with smartphones, and even then they're guaranteed to be bone-stock, used only for corporate email. I've only met maybe one person who I could have a serious geek conversation with & that was the guy I bought my mogul from. Sometimes it gets lonely here...

the radioshack around wehre i live never even saw a 6800/mogul/titan before. when they saw my phone, they were like "is that a new phone?" lmao maybe i should walk into a verizon store and see what they say heh

I gotta pipe in here, even though I wasn't going to. I have had many ppc phones in the past (Toshiba e840, xv6700, treo 700wx, etc...), and now have the mogul (for just a few months). While having the dataplan is nice with ppc phones, you don't need to have it to be a true geek with a phone. I have a ton of things on the phone/tweaked, etc... I just cannot afford $45/month for the data. I get everything I need datawise in the office when my phone is cradled and attached to my pc. There have got to others out there like me.

I agree with that. Although I do have unlimited data now, I didn't for the longest time.

When I needed inet access, I either docked it in my office or used wifi at one of the many hot-spots in my area.

I see them all the time in one form or another, my favorite is when an I-phone fan boy says "I got 16 gigs on mine how about yours?" I look sad and say "Well I got 16 gig but the other 2 8 gig cards are on my keyring somewhere..." plus I point out that I can do what I like without asking Mr. Jobs permission!:blackeye:

with the right services signed up to (for free) i now have 310 gigs on my mogul... plus the 4 gig memory. lol (not sure if im allowed to state bc of thread issues buuut yea) i just ussually tell people... i have 40 gigs of music and 30 gigs of movies... plus all my dvd's... that i put into my 2 dvd rom drives in my comp before leaving the house.

Heck, I use ORB & have over 900 gigs of hard drive space filled with movies/pics etc etc in my tower at home which is all accessable from my phone............

How does one sign up for access to all that? just give me a couple days and you will have an extra backup...yea thats it....:mrgreen:
