How do you disable voice calls for DATA use only

Is there a way to disable all incoming calls while using my phone as tethering? I keep getting disconnected every time someone calls me and its getting very frustrating.

Could you turn off the phone section via the comm manager?

Turning off the phone via the Comm Manage will also disable the data connection as well.

You could always dial ##778# and go do Modem Settings I believe and change to HDR only, which will only allow data and no phone calls. But that is a lot of work.

Hate to be the noob. However Going to settings/phone, I do not see any "mode of operation". I have Services and more.

Thanks in advance

Okay then you need to edit the Reg or do a hard reset and reset before any customizations.

That's on Sprint ROMs only PDA I think.

I just forward my incoming calls to my VOIP number when I drive down to Mexico. Thanks to the $40 all you can burn data flat rate from Sprint International, I can make and receive all my calls (and I burn a lot of GB per month) without worries.

Okay, you forced me to dig through the reg. Navigate to HKLM_Software_OEM_PhoneSettings Change "Hidden Prefernce Mode" from 1 to 0 then soft reset and look for that setting under Phone settings.

so much for searching anymore huh...ive answered this question 3x myself alone...

Call Firewall..you can get it from Freewarepocketpc.. it wont turn your phone off..but rather block them..you can set this up for any amount of specific numbers or your entire contact list...

this is what i use when using wmwifirouter so i dont lose connection..

works great

I managed to find this in the registry. However after attempting to connect with changing this value to 0 I received a registry error after the reset when I attempted to connect to the net. It may be because where I am right at this moment im in a 1x only area. I will try to it once i get into a rev a area again.
