What's the best speed test site to test speed?
 

What is the best site to use to test both up and down speeds on the mogul? I am not talking about tethering, just using PIE.

I've tried speakeasy with flash player 7 installed, and it crashes on me. DSL reports only tests down speed, and seems to be very inconsistent.

I use bandwidthplace.com. Right now the site seems to be down so you may have to check later.

quick post guys, i am getting different speeds from www.mobilespeedtest.com when using opera mini 4.0 i get 2MB and using IE i get 800kb.. weird

Opera Mini uses a proxy... You are getting your results through Opera, not your connection, so it is not indicative of real world speed.

Which is a more accurate reading, test results from PIE or Opera Mini? When using PIE, speeds are very average. When using Opera Mini, speeds are off the charts. I rarely use PIE.

PIE is accurate, Op Mini is far from accurate

Like was already said, when you test through Opera Mini, the results you get are only from the test location to Opera's servers, not from the test location to your phone.
