HTC Home Weather
 

I just installed both HTC Home and HHC yesterday. After first installing I set up a custom location for the weather tab and all was well. Later in the day yesterday I went to check the weather and it was "unable to retrieve data for selected city." So I tried a new custom city and a couple default cities with no luck. I can confirm via outlook and a browser that I do have a valid working internet connection.

Can anyone provide some guidance?

Thanks in advance, my setup is:
Verizon xv6800
Stock ROM (I have not upgraded to the GPS ROM)
Installed:
Google Maps
Task Manager (Can't recall the name of it)
HTC Home
HHC
PHM RegEdit

what version of home and hhc you got?i had that problem then i went and updated the hhc as thats the way i download the home app itsself...i got the hhc from www.pocketemu.com

HHC was an older version (couldn't get from pocketemu yesterday) but I uninstalled then reinstalled the current "final version" v10Final
HTC Home is version (v2.0.814.722) it's the only one I could find. htc's support page is down for the xv6800.

After upgrading the HHC still getting same result.

hmmm.. i just check and thats what im running with no problems...

OK, I uninstalled both HTC Home and HHC then re-installed.

I am NOW getting data for default cities, but not for custom.

Just to provide some more details, I have tried 3, all have failed:
1: City, State: Canonsburg, PA
Country: US
Zip Code: 15317
2: City, State: Washington, PA
Country: US
Zip Code: 15301
3: City, State: Pennsauken, NJ
Country: US
Zip Code: 08109

The other issue I have is that the slideout keyboard seems to be locked into the "function" mode but only in the customizer.
