Google Calendar

Is there any good method to sync with Google Calendar yet?

I've tried the various apps like GooSync and stuff, they, quite frankly, wouldn't work at all for me.

I tried ScheduleWorld with Funambol, and there are so many issues with that. For one, it deleted a bunch of old crap off my calendars from an old date when syncing. Funambol breaks recurring events that happen to go over DST boundaries. End dates to recurring events aren't set correctly on WM from Funambol. Afternoon events are all off by one hour.

I'm really thinking about just giving up.

This is for desktop only, not for the phone. If you use Outlook, Google just released software to sync Outlook with Google Calendar. Best of all it's free.

It is especially good because you can have it sync 2 ways. With it working like this you can set it up to have outlook sync to google and load your dates. If you are running the app on another pc with outlook it will sync your dates to the other oc with outlook. This makes it easy to sync from one pc to another. It supposedly will sync to a winmo device (I read) but I am assuming you have to be on exchange server or something. I really do not know. I just like the convenience of syncing my dates from home to work immediately.

Merry Christmas.

Sweet! looks better than oggsync, as long as it supports multiple calendars. /me tries it out

[edit]
Bummer, it doesn't support multiple calendars. I'll have to try funambol again, other than that I'll prolly stick with oggsync for now.

Is there a better alternative yet than what's listed here?

Re: Google Calendar

I'm using nuevasync these days. They support google contacts and multiple calendars now, right through activesync. Works great, push updates both ways on calendars + contacts (and soon they are adding email too).
