ActiveSync missing programs
 

after installing rom 3.35.651.2 i connected to activesync to reinstall all my software - there were only 3 listed - i have many more such as spb, i/nav and slingplayer - what am i doing wrong?

I think it has to do with using an installer and not a cab. The only way programs get into AS is with an installer, not a cab. You'll have to find all your cabs and re-sync them.

They only show in Activesync if you install them from your computer. In order to see any of the cabs that you have installed, you need to go to Start > Settings > System > Remove Programs on your phone.

It actually is a bit confusing. IF the device is connected, ITEMS that were installed ON the device will ALSO show up in the activesync list, it allows you to UNISTALL there as well.

But, IF the device is not connected, it will show only the items that were installed FROM the pc.

i reinstalled everything i could think of (and find) by copying the .cab file to the 6800 and executing them - i deleted the .cab file after i executed each - they now show in the add/delete list in activesync

i have only installed the htc roms - and don't recall having to do that last time - maybe i just forgot
