remote security memory wipe...
so whil browsing the HTC site I stumbled upon a new feature in the newest and upcoming phone/pda releases.....remote memory wipe. Seeing that the Titan is so versatile and can seemlessly mimic all the other HTC phones.....is there a way to make this feature possible for all us mogul users?
thanks in advance to all those who help in my quest.... |
Re: remote security memory wipe...
My company uses some software that allows for remote memory wipe on any WM 6.0 phone so I'm sure there must be some available.

Re: remote security memory wipe...
Remote wipe has been available since WM5, and it is built into exchange server 2003 sp2 and above. From my exchange server, I can initiate a remote wipe to any of my companies WM5 and above devices no matter what device it is.

There is a program called Sprite Terminator that will do that for you. It also has some other features

Lock : Will reset your phone and lock it. Query: Returns a text message with your call history Wipe: Erases your phone and storage card All done via text messaging and the phone user is not aware of the inquiries. Also includes a 15 day trial. Check it out at www.spritesoftware.com |
Re: remote security memory wipe...
Sprite Terminator also uses a class 0 SMS. So although the the phone lights up as if you are getting a message, the receiver will never get it.

Re: remote security memory wipe...
is there any other software that does what sprite terminator does but at a price of free.
