Sprint: cannot send text messages, only recieve
 

None of our phones can send text messages. I can receive them just fine, but if I send it it just says not sent, put in drafts. My mom and sister cannot send either.

Also, Sprint service dropped out for a few minutes and I tried to make a call. Came up to a Verizon error message saying I couldn't be authenticated. Sprint came back and I could make calls just fine. This is upstate NY, anyone know if something fishy is going on?

Gives me "Your text message cannot be sent. Saved in drafts" If I hit details, it gives me error code 97.

Yep...same problem...must be a network issue

Verizon roaming issue too? I've never tried to roam on verizon since installing 3.16, so I didnt know if that was a network issue at the moment or just an issue with the new radio.

Funny you mention this. I'm sitting at work in the Hudson Valley region of NY and my partner (i work EMS, so i'm at one of our sub stations) just asked me if i could text. He just got an error message on his Mogul, i sent one out just fine on my Touch however. Very odd. Sound's as though there may be network issue in our area. The heavy rain moving through surely isn't helping anything.

yeah wtf! really pissed my texting just all of a sudden doesnt work! they better fix this asap!

My mom's LG phone makes calls fine when sent to roaming only. I try to call my phone which is set to roaming only and get voicemail. Is that an issue with the 3.16 and the new radio?

Also, it's not just my mogul as far as texting goes, my sister's upstage and my mom's LG both give the same problem.

Just tried it out to see if it's network wide.

Texted to my Verizon line while on Sprint Network. I received it. Tried it with girlfriend's phone and it worked also.

I think it's affecting the East Coast only.

Using nexvision's hybrid rom using dcd 2.3.1 and 3.27.00 radio.

Same thing here no texting out, Northern Illinois area. WTF is Sprint doing?!!!

Ok, i just sent a text through my Touch to my partner's Mogul. He got it within 2 seconds but he still cannot text out. Very odd. Again, i'm in the Hudson Valley region of New York.

Wow, I am in Columbus and just tried to text and got the same thing. Not sent, put in draft.
