Anyone succesfuly forward their hotmail?

i am able to forward my hotmail to my mail2web, but my friend is unable to do it. it will only allow his hotmail to be forwarded to another hotmail, msn, live etc... account. he gets this error everytime. anyone get this error and know a workaround?

At some point, Hotmail and now, Live Mail, removed the ability to forward messages to domains that were not controlled by Microsoft. So, you can forward to another Live Mail or Hotmail address, or you can forward to a custom domain that you using with a Microsoft Live service.

I have both a Hotmail and Windows Live account and can confirm that this is the case with both of these accounts, as of today. It is entirely possible that there is some type of grandfathered terms of service for older accounts or for accounts that already had their mail being forwarded to a domain external to Microsoft.

It would make my day if this were possible, but I don't think it's happening anytime soon.

My friend has an old MSN account and he is able to forward it to mail2web...I, however, cannot.

You'd think MSN would have a premium pay service that would allow forwarding...oh well.

yeah thats my issue, my hotmail account is much older than his and it all makes sense now. i guess he will have to go with someone else if he wants his mail forwarded to his mogul. thanks guys.
