Upload your mp3 and choose customize.

Then choose send to phone and you get a text message on your Mogul with the link to click on to download the ringtone you made.

I know I'm not explaining perfectly, but it is super easy.

I can't see a need to do that when I can put the song on the phone and use it as the ringer. That is the same as a ring tone right?

This allows you to easily pick the best 15 or 20 seconds of any mp3 and send it to your phone as a ringtone.

HTC's Audio Manager also has a built in MP3 trimmer. Kinda nice to be able to do everything right on your phone.

Thats pretty neat, nice little program. Now I only have 8 programs that play my audio files! Lol, but seriously though, I like the fluidness of this one. Where do I trim up the mp3's at? It doesnt edit the original file does it? (Like if i trim it for a ringtone, i can still go back and listen to the full song later).

Also, very important to me...
the mp3trim program has an option to actually increase the volume of the sound byte you are working with, can i do that with this program?

Ya, Audio Manager is pretty nice. If you run HTC Home, it integrates with the audio tab as well. There are a lot of nice players out there, but I've always liked the simplicity and functionality of Audio Manager.

To trim songs:
Start playing the file, hit Menu, Set as Ringtone, Trim. It won't overwrite the original, so no worries there.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to modify volume levels.

Well, it works well for what I need it too. I think when I upgrade to the new ROM my low ringer volume issues will go away...so this will be a useful tool in my arsenal
