Sprint Mogul doesn't bring up WMDC
 

Hi Everyone,

When I connect my Sprint Mogul to Windows Vista Business 32, it shows in the Device Manager. I can sync with Windows Media Player. However, WMDC doesn't run automatically. When I run WMDC manually, it gives a small window that says 'Device Connected' with choices of how to connect (USB, Bluetooth, etc).

I would appreciate any help...

Go to microsoft and search for WMDC. There is a driver update for this named WMDC-x86.

Under settings --> System --> USB to PC do you have the Enable advanced network functionality box checked or unchecked? that gives me issues sometimes on my Vista Ultimate pc. so i disable it itll work and others it'll work fine enabled. try that.

Also, make sure that you have the latest version of WMDC...I think there is a version 6.1 on the MS site.

I'm in the same boat. My device will sync with Vista just fine via Bluetooth, but it won't load the proper drivers when I connect via USB. Latest version, check boxes, yadda yadda.

same here... im trying to put the new rom on my mogul but my stupid phone keeps dumping the sync when i start the ruu. im using vista x64 Please help!
