mogul now on telenav's site
 
so i was updating a bb today and noticed that the sprint/telenav navigation is available for the mogul on the telenav site.

i downloaded it but it keeps looking for a bluetooth gps reciever.
Tried searching for anything related to this but came up empty.
Any suggestions?

Do you have the GPS enabled leaked ROM or a ROM based off the new leaked ROM?

On the TeleNav website it says the Mogul only supports external GPS via BT. Hence if you download their app it will be searching for a BT GPS. Download the OEM app (do a search in this forum. Also for GPS to work on your phone you need to have the unofficial officially released leak ROM ver 3.16 with internal GPS enabled

doh...lol i downloaded off the phone so didnt notice that it searched for external bt...i had the oem one and really liked it...hmmm wonder if i can pair it to my cars bt cause it has a a gps antenna.

Maybe sprint informed telenav that they will be releasing the new ROM soon....

OOOO, back to my hole, didnt mean to speculate on the new ROM ;-) haha

If you have the leaked 3.16 ROM installed, Sprint Navigation comes with it. It's the same exact thing as TeleNav. And it doesn't require an external BT receiver. All you have to do is download it, and it will set up with the internal receiver, BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE A 3.16 ROM OR CUSTOM ROM FROM 3.16!

Do anyone know if the Sprint Navigation is going to show any surcharges on your bill?
