ESN, MSID and A-Key info - Lost it, tryin to get it back
 

ok, I just upgraded to the new 3.16 rom... But didnt know I had to copy down my ESN (Hex), ESN (Dec), and MSID value.... Any Help????

Your ESNs should be on a sticker underneath your battery (at least, that's where they are on my xv6800), and your MSID should be your phone number. Good luck!

EDIT: Actually, not too sure about the MSID for Sprint phones... my MSID is simply my phone number, but it could be different for you since I'm w/ VZW.

im using the MSL generator Tool to try and access my code to unlock the EPST... everytime i enter my hex esn i get a messege saying,"could noy link to DDL". what ever that mean

Just give Sprint customer service a call indicating you had to hard reset and need them to assist you to get the phone back on the network. Do not let on on that you have flashed the ROM and just ask for help to get your phone to work again.

It would be the same as activating a new phone.

You have to open that program in the phone. First, copy the ddl included in the zip and put that in the windows folder in the phone (using activesync). Then execute the .exe.

call sprint get msl number then on fone press ##msl(6-digit)# and msid and mdn is your fone number

finally got it, good lookin tooka.... but do you know if sprint has an A-key? If so I need to obtain mines

Sprint does not have an A-key.
