Application Lock - Cannot install App after reg edit
 

OK, I followed the reg edit #1 from the Reg Tweeks sticky. I have verified multiple times that I have it right. However, when I try to install WMWiFiRouter I get the error "yadda... not digitally signed with a trusted certificate."

What am I doing wrong or missing?

This is a Sprint Mogul on ROM: 2.16.651 Dated: 09/03/07 Radio: 1.47.00.

I searched the forums and saw a couple people as the same question, but I never saw an answer or resolution to the issue.

In the reg tweaks sticky find the 'unlock phone hack' which allows unsigned apps to run on the phone. And update that buggy 2.16 Rom to at LEAST the Sprint 2.17... that 2.16 Rom was pulled after about a month

Thanks for the info, but as I said in my first message I did follow the registry tweeks to unlock the the application installation and it didn't work. I have verified multiple times that the registry keys quoted were changed correctly and no go.

I haven't upgraded the ROM to 2.17 because I heard it wasn't much better than the 2.16 and I have been waiting for the new official GPS ROM before I hard reset again.
