Skype works nicely. I travel alot and always use skype at the hotels wifi, or anywhere in town with wifi. some places, maybe india still uses CDMA just activate your international calling with sprint. the charges are astronomical, so I can only recommend skype. Open your account before leaving though. hope i helped.

I have shied away from Skype mobile because of the issue with the voice coming from the speakerphone speaker instead of the earpiece speaker. Has Skype fixed that or did you figure out a workaround?
