Photo contacts closes randomly
 

I'm pretty sure someone else had this gripe but it might have been deleted. For some unknown reason, Photocontacts pro closes randomly. It's been doing that with wm6 and 6.1. Anyone have any ideas as to why it does this? not only that, but sometimes I have to close and reopen the program when I get a text message and it won't stop vibrating but the tone won't sound. it's getting increasingly annoying and unfortunately there is no other program that will use mp3's on my sd card for txt tones and cut them off when I go to see the message no matter how long the tone is for.

Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

me too. I have a question though... I use PCP to assign sms tones too but I can't get the sound to stop when I acknowledge the sms... how did you get it to do that?

I've noticed if u have the thread open and there's a message that comes in on that thread, it'll play the whole tone.

Hi Team, did you go the Tools, OPTIONs screen and scroll down in the GENERAL tab and click on "Ignore System Exit Requests"? Also, for the SMS Ring Tone via MP3, you can only cut it short or just make sure you exit out of the SMS. No other resolution.

I also found out, for those who have the X Button installed on there devices, that it EXITS OUT of all apps. So it will close out PCP.

Hey,
Sorry it's been a while since I've checked this forum. I'm still having the same issues with all version of PCP. I did check the "ignore system exit request" but I want to know why my system wants it closed. If I get the close request, I know that it's going to start acting up so I go ahead and close it. Tried keeping the tones on the device as opposed to the card but stilll has the same issues =/
