Unlimited Everything & Spring Navigation for Mogul
 

So, I upgraded today to the new Sprint Unlimited Everything plan. I was hoping that I would be able to just use the leaked Sprint Navigation cab, but it's still saying that I need to call to set it up or pay $9.99.

Has anyone got this to work with the new plan?

i signed up today as well, and they informed me that the changes will not go into effect until the beginning of the next billing cycle. 5th day of the month im my case.

Funny, they told me that there would be a prorate and the changes were immediate....

You can usually choose to wait 'till next billing period, or pro-rate so it starts immediately. At least they asked me when I changed my plan a couple of months ago.

So, do you think I should call and ask why the navigation isn't working? Or will they ask how I have navigation on the mogul? Or will CS be too stupid to put that together? :)

If you mean switching to the plan online, then no. Right now it must be done over the phone or at a store.

Whoa so unlimited minutes too??? so then I wounldnt free incomin calls and only 100??? thats cheaper than my plan now wit all that now

right! the way it was explained to me was you bill will never change a single dollar provided you keep your calls in the US. so whatever you have now you drop. I do pay extra for the total Protection package but i loose my phone on the regular. (or find it again for parts or a stand alone GPS in my truck.) Bwhahahaha

Does someone know if this plan is meant for individuals or can it be used for Family Plans? I have a FP. Would be nice if it was for FP even tho I do have a pretty good plan. Unlimited text & internet, 700 minutes shared and 49.99 data card with company discounts which makes my plan around 108 per month for 2 phones. This would just give me another option in the future.

They are all individual plans but they discount the individual plan price by roughly $5 per line you add, so $99, 94, etc.

They also have some sort of unlimited plans in which you can get 450 anytime or 900 (again individual) voice minutes but unlimited everything else for $69 and $89 respectively. -e.

Am I doing something wrong...I have the telenav. I have the $99plan unlimited... my phone still says no gps... what am i doing wrong...I went to www.telenav.com and it said that i need a an external device to make this work..Please Help!

You'll have to wait for the Official update or run custom 3.16 ROM with GPS implemented. All of the ROMs can be found under the sub-forum titled, 'Upgrades'

Retroactivating your account to this plan depends on what market your in, and whether your account is handled in fast, p2k, or ensamble... most of you probably have no idea what im talking about, reps and cms will... in english, sprint needs about 3-5days to update your accounts billing information.

Can someone clarify what I am reading here? It appears that Sprint Navigation will still be charged $9.99/month in addition to the $99/month all inclusive plan? (LOL @ all inclusive without Sprint Nav!)

To the above, you cannot only add the Sprint Navigation .cab, you need to:

a)upgrade to the 'leaked' 3.16 Rom (or a custom Rom based on 3.16/3.27 radio)
b) wait for the 'official' Sprint/HTC revA/GPS-enabling Rom to be released, or
c) use an external GPS receiver

i called and weaseled the plan out of them to get unlimited navigation....but the sprint navigation program doesn't work....google garmin mobile xt...i've been using it on my mogul for the last three weeks....it is BAD ***....i usually run GPS VIEWER in the background and lock onto about 7 GPS sats....Garmin is RIGHT on point it is amazing....When you search garmin mobile xt mogul GPS you will find some good info on how to get it to work on your mogul...the info assumes you have bought the program and just want a work around on how to put the map data onto your own sd card instead of the one Garmin sells....so, if you were a "hacker" you could use it for free with your results...but, I don't codone that. :headbang:

i have the $99.00 simply everything unlimited plan, and i have AIM 2.0 on my HTC mogul, i wont get charged for that right? i dont know if its a third party client because in the fine print it says additional charges may be added with third party messaging, just asking, thanks in advance :)
