How do you install JAR file?

While I have an unlimited internet access.. I do not have an unlimited SMS.. So I have been using an IM or email to send text messages among my friends.. but as you know, there are some limitations that makes them just pain in the arse compare to a real SMS.
So I have been searching for a SMS alternatives, and I have came across something called GoTalkMobile.
It does exactly what I needed, but the file I downloaded is in JAR format..
and I do not know exactly what I am suppose to do with it.

Can anyone please shed some light into this dilemma?

Well I finally found a way to unzip it.. (just had to rename the extention to .zip)
But looks like this app is a bust.. Would not work.. sigh.

a jar is a Java container. You should just choose install from JBED or what ever java you are using. You should be able to search for it on your card, select it and it should install the same way as Opera Mini or Gmail.
