tethering is actually hooking you mobile to your laptop or pc and using it as a modem to get internet.

legal, illegal, these are just words right, we all pay for unlimited data so whos to say how i get to see that data.

if you fail to see and use the power of denial, you may just recieve that ten zillion dollar bill. i watch alot of slingbox

try turning on the wifi then open the wmprogram, go to options , configuration, cellular connection, and check sprint, then run the program and let it go through its full check list before trying to connect from your pc

shocks-

tethering is just using your phone or device as a modem by connecting it thru usb, bluetooth, etc. The computer sees your phone as a Lan connection, and allows you to get the internet connection on your desktop or laptop, thru the wireless radio in your phons.

-Tethering is NOT illegal, its something the manufacturers/carriers enable.

-With a mogul, most of us with unlimited data plans(pretty much all of us), have no additional charges. The thing is Sprint knows that we do it, but they dont care to block it, unless you abuse it. (by abuse i mean use excessive amounts of bandwidth)

-something is wrong in there, the program uses the internet sharing program to make this happen for you. ICS is internet sharing and Wlan is your wireless Lan(wifi).

-your ending state should read "connected to wmwifirouter-Ready"

-make sure you are turning on your wifi switch on the side of the phone BEFORE starting wmwifirouter.
that should fix that for you.

When i upgraded my ROM iwmwifirouter started working right again. I am actually tethered in posting this right now listening to some inet radio ;-)

glad ur up and running. this program is simply amazing. this is gonna rape your battery though...even if its charging!!

I've heard that the psp has a hard time connecting to adhoc networks (which is what wmfifirouter creates) people have reported success with xbox and ps3.
