Remote Party ending EVDO session?

I think I'm getting knocked offline by an automatic EVDO time-out. I know there was a work-around for the PPC6700, but haven't heard anything positive for the 6800. I'm not sure if "GPRS Always On" and "EVDO Always On" are the same thing... perhaps a little clarification (and then deletion, but only in that order!!!) would be great... :headbang:

mine does the same thing, i used to be able to teather with usbmodem and download torrents all night, now it dies after 10 to 20 min's.

Hopefully this is just a bug from the leaked rom and not on the final wink wink rom.

mine isn't quite that quick (10-15 minutes) i'd say closer to 30-45 minutes.

i did a bit of research and read that having AIM running in the background will keep your connection running. the info came from a message board thread started in 2005, so no confirmation this works with the mogul.

Mine also takes about 30 to 45 minutes or so, but I don't think it makes a difference with aim running or not. I use yahoo and msn messenger and it still cuts off anyway, so I don't know.
