How reliable is the XV-6800 (with any ROM)?
 

Hello all..

I'm thinking about getting this phone and I have a question about reliability. I currently have an VX-8300 and I -never- have to reboot/restart this thing. I've read messages where people say they have to soft boot the XV-8600 about once a week or there abouts.

So I want to know what you people think about the reliability of this phone? Do any of the hacked ROMs make it more reliable? What ROM would you use that would render the most reliable XV-8600?

I just don't want to get this thing and have it turn out to be a pain in the butt all the time not getting calls, not waking up when calls/txt come in, or it locking up.

Any opinions here would be appreciated.

I am running DCD's 2.3.1 Kitchen on my XV6800 and have had no issues. I never really had any problems with the stock ROM either. I am really happy with my XV6800. You could always use the 30 days and try it out. If it's not for you then you can still return it!

Thanks for the reply. What benefits do you get from using that ROM over the stock ROM?
