Memory Issues
 

Is there a program that will tell me which programs are running in memory. I reboot my device and I only have 4.67 MB free. I can't even run certain programs.

MemMaid will show you everything that loading at boot and everything you have running at any one time, including programs, dll's, today page plugins,

I hope this helps as you certainly have a lot of programs and/or plugins loading. I have a fair amount running just after rebooting:

• SPB Mobile Shell
• WisBar
• SPB Phone Suite
• PDAnet
• SPB Time
• Pocket Breeze

And I still have around 18 mb free.

WM 5 & 6 both had program memory-usage displays under settings. WM 6.1 does not have this but it has a built-in task manager. Asides from stock assistance, there are the following which are easy to obtain and install onto your device:

TaskMan task manager
DotFred task manager
QuickMenu (I personally use)

Try searching the forums for "task manager", "task", "manager" or "taskmanager". But to be honest, you need to seriously optimize your device if you have 4.67mb after soft reset...
