Update utility error message.

Hey guys when trying to reload the 2.17 rom on my phone from the 3.16 rom, I'm getting an error that claims " This update can't use this update utility, utility can't be used for your pda, please check your update utility. error # 328". On the HTC home page mention no such error number for me to troubleshoot. Ive always had OEM roms only on this phone till I updated to v.s 3 of rom?
