Does anyone know where I can get a working version of Doom for WM6?

OK.............so with 106 views I thought there would be at least one reply but I guess not!

Anyway I asked the same question over at the sprintusers forums and they were kind enough to help me out. Here is the link:

Now there are two versions of doom listed in there that worked for me, rcx-doom and celldoom...

Has anyone here used celldoom on the mogul? or on apache?

i wouldnt bother until HTC puts out the video acceleration they promised us.. (vid acceleration, NOT ATI drivers)

phone can barely run nes emulators..

Wait what, how will HTC give us video acceleration? Isnt that a hardware thing? Dont you mean drivers?

There's a thread somewhere on here that says HTC will NOT be releasing any drivers for the video acceleration - and went into detail as to why - saying its a complicated process, blah blah blah. They are releasing something in a future update that is supposed to enhance video performance, but it is NOT taking advantage of the video acceleration capability's that are built into the phone. Search for it - you'll see.
