I need Offline GPS
 

Hi,I'm wondering is there any offline GPS browsers?
I don't have any internet connections,but wanna use GPS!
I try Turbo GPS but it's very difficult and heavy to use:violent2:

There are many "off-line" gps browsers. What are you looking for? Navigation? GPS Logger? Off-road GPS?

If you search there is a free GPS program thread out there there may be something you like in that.

I use TomTom and Navigon. They are both off line and are really good. There are several others that you pay for as well such as IGo, Mio, Garmin etc... They all have their positives and negatives.

I'm in Uzbekistan ( CENTRAL ASIA) Near to Russia!
Is those GPS apps work there?
Like i know, i need off-line maps right?
Can you help me with that?

I bought from USA!
If i buy TomTom would this app work fine in Central Asia?

There are maps for all over the place. Check out TomTom it doesnt list Russia for what ever reason but if you check out the websites for these various navigation platforms I am sure someone has hap coverage.

Edit: I googled TomTom russia and it looks like maps exist as there are Torrents for it. It was just not listed on the tomtom site but the maps section was down so I couldnt tell for sure. try http://tomtom.com too.

Just poking around it looks like IGO/Mio has a russian map. Hope that helps:
