Message stuck in Outbox

I have a message that's stuck in the outbox of my text messaging and keeps resending itself over and over again. When I go into the text messaging Outbox folder and try to delete it, it asks me if I am sure that I want to delete the message....I click 'yes' and the message still remains in the Outbox. The person that the message was originally sent to is getting pissed at me cuz they think that I keep sending this message over and over again. Does anyone know how I can stop this message from being stuck in my Outbox? Is there a certain folder in the registry that I can go into to delete it from there? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Have you tried soft resetting the phone? Same thing actually happens to me for outgoing exchange email. Pretty annoying.

I had the same problem with multiple emails via exchange. I read a tip in another thread that seems to have worked.

In the activesync settings somewhere is a checkbox for 'SSL'. Uncheck that and try it.

Yeah, I've done multiple soft resets....it doesn't do anything. I'm hoping that I won't have to do a hard reset, but if that's what it takes to solve the problem...oh well, worse things have happened.

I JUST had the same thing happen to me. What I did was I cleared my Deleted Messages folder and then cleared "text messages" and the rogue text message finally went away. I think clearing deleted messages might be enough, but when I actually did it I did the steps in reverse (I actually cleared my inbox before clearing my deleted messages).
