Backup Account Question

I seem to be hard reseting a lot lately. now that I received my replacement phone I have started playing with custom roms.

Well is there a way to save my email settings? It's a pain in the butt re-entering 5 email accounts every time I update the rom or need to wipe the phone.

I tried or pimbackup v2 but that didn't work.

Any advice?

Thanks

Re: Backup Account Question

You can find the Reg entries and then export them. Then just cook them into your custom ROM if you are using one, or just import the registry entries using an reg editor.

That is how I keep most of my settings after a hard reset.

Hope that helps.

Re: Backup Account Question

I have Resco and SPB Backup and I don't see an area where I can back up Email Accounts.

Sure they can backup emails, but since I am using imap on all my accounts I don't need to back up the emails. Plus if I used pop there is always activesync and Outlook.

I don't want to back up the whole registry since I am pretty sure there must be some differences in the registry between No2Chems builds.

Hrm...
