First and last name contact display
I know this has been covered somewhere, but I couldn't relocate it.
Whats the registry edit to make the contacts display first name first? ex. "Randy Shapiro" instead of "Shapiro, Randy" Yes that's my name, and no I don't care if everyone sees it lol |
there is an option with contacts. go and edit the contact and change "file as" to first, last name.
quicker way is to load onto outlook, change it and then load back to phone. |
Yea brotha.......while your inputing the name inbetween "job title" and "work tel" there is "FILE AS". Just click and it will give you LAST, FIRST or FIRST, LAST.............No registry edit needed
|
yeah i figured this out after i retype alot of them, there a drop down to use what you typed the first time
|
I already knew you could do this. It's just a pain to go through an do that to all 250+ contacts. I read somewhere in these forums or on xda, i cant remember which, where you can edit a registry string to change the default to First Name, Last Name instead of Last Name, First Name.
It is possible, I just cant find the thread for the life of me... |
