Problem with TomTom recognizing Contact names...
 

I remembered someone in a thread saying that whenever they want a business that isn't on TomTom to show up on the map, they just look the business up and save the info as a contact.

I went into Live Search, looked up a business, and then saved the information as a contact.

When I try to navigate to it in TomTom, it shows a blank space for the name, even though when I click the blank space it gives me the proper address. I checked my contact manager and the business names are saving...

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

There is company name and name inside contact, tomtom use Name only. Make sure [Name] is not empty

Sounds like you put the company name in the Company field instead of the Name field.

That did it...
 

Thanks guys! Is there any way I can make Live Search save company names as the regular names without going in manually? Does Google Maps save them as company names?
