Wireless Sync pushing security

I searched around and tried to find some info on this issue. Here's what's happening:

Because I'm using Wireless Sync for my work email, it forces me to use a pin to unlock the phone after 30 minutes or when coming out of standby.

I found the registry keys involved here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317107

I tried the Zenyee StayUnlock program but it's not working. Anytime I sync it resets the registry entries. It's a real pain ](*,)

Anyone else have this problem and is there a better workaround?

Any ideas?

I have sync disabled for now so I don't have to put in a PIN. But that kinda negates the purpose of Wireless Sync ;)

Are you talking about Verizon Wireless Sync or Exchange Activesync?

Verizon's Wireless Sync. I disabled the Exchange ActiveSync (too many dupes ;) )
