I Tilted my Mogul!
2 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I started working on a little project this past evening. I have been really envious of the screen on the AT&T Tilt because I watch a lot of video on my Mogul. The stand alone tilted screen has to make things much nicer for viewing. Here is my answer to tilting the screen on the Mogul. It's made of plastic and the phone "holder" is hinged and can be adjusted to any angle. It is very light and works pretty well. Just thought I would share! Any ideas for improvements are welcomed. -Thanks |
That's a nice unit.
At first I thought you made the actual flip screen slide at an angle, just like the tilt lol. That's a good idea though. Bien fait. |
neat! i miss that about my old 6700... i used to have the really thick brick extended battery and i used to be able to prop it on it's side for watching movies on it... great idea for a stand!

That's cool... Good work!

Great success!

I might have to steal your idea and make one for myself. Nice job!

Thanks for the remarks!
This morning has been my first real world use of my "Tilter" and I have to say it is working flawlessly. I have it setting on my desk with the morning news streaming in via Orb. Making this thing has turned out to be a worthy couple of hours out of my life! |
Ah...the smell of innovation...
Nice job sprintmogulfan! |
Interesting idea. I have a Seidio 3200 mAh battery and am able to prop it at an angle on it's side to watch Slingbox, YouTube, etc. Not very stable though. This might help!

It also works if I need to put my Mogul in an elevated place. I just place it into the holder backward.
This thing is rock stable. There is no way it is going to fall or move unless you accidentally knock it off the table or desk yourself. I will put some little self adhesive rubber gripper pads on the bottom though....the smooth plastic slides a little to easily on smooth surfaces. Thanks for the encouraging words! |
