Update the rom. Mine seems louder with the updated rom. Also you'll get revA and gps on your phone. also it's a lot faster and it seems like a lot longer battery life

audio boost problem

Ive downloaded a new audiopara.csv and installed total commander. However even using TC on my 6800 I cannot delete or overwrite the existing audiopara in the /windows directory. I assume this is because its in use, or a system file. But it wont let me rename-move-overwrite it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I had the same problem. Here's how if fixed it- (Use total commander) first the stock audiopara.csv file is read only. Tried to change the properties with Total Commander but it would just revert back. So i copied the stock audiopara.csv to My Documents (or wherever you choose), i could then change the read-only status, then I copied that file back to /windows and overwrote the original file. I then renamed that file as audiopara_original.csv so i could always revert back if i wanted. move the audiopara_course.csv (or whatever) file you downloaded to /windows and rename it audiopara.csv. Then do a soft reboot. It will now use the info from the new modified audiopara.csv and you still have your original if you don't like the results. Hope that makes sense.

There may be a simpler way... but this is the method I used.

That worked, thanks! And the sound is a little louder which is good.
