Why does my today screen become like this...

also sometimes i wont see the today screen at all...it will just freeze to the screen i was at before it (text messages etc)....is it htc home that is doing this?

are you running wm 6.1? i've noticed a weird bug where sometimes going to the today screen causes this type of noise.

nopeee im just running the newest official rom that is not 3.16...i dont know how to any of the fancy things on the mogul although i wuld like too!

i have seen that usually when the RAM gets extremely low or when you haven't done a soft reset in a few days...remember, soft reset a day keeps the headaches away

Um, that doesnt look normal. I would obviously make sure you check the available RAM and which programs are running when this occurs, to try and narrow it down. But if it persists, I would walk into sprint with the screen looking like that and tell them you spent 500 dollars and would like a phone that works correctly. I have never seen anything like that on my phone.

LOL it looks like a case of "No Ram". I was going to say Hard-Reset but yeah if that happens in just a few hours something is horribly wrong, usually it takes several days to get to that point, even with resource hungry apps. IMHO I'd return it.

LOL I dont think its anything to worry about. I noticed this started happening when I used more today screen mods. Not just pluggins but when I use the HTC HOME + RC MOD + TODAY GIF + LG no bottom bar + Touch flo. It happens to me now and again since about Mid Nov When I started using Touch Flo. Just soft reset you should be fine.

Im not a tech or anything but as long as you has TEP you can always ask for a return.

I noticed a similar issue last week, shortly before running into a mem problem with live search. soft reset fixed, but i think it may be from google maps. I use both to find some addresses, and that day i was switching back and forth.. I have also noticed mem leaks with google maps, esp when sliding keyboard alot.
