Re: ' No Maps Found '' error with TomTom Navigator 6 on Mogul / Titan

I personally use AstroGPSLauncher. Just place the folder in the root of your device. This one is configured if you have TT on you storage card (\Storage Card\Program Files\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe). Just copy the shortcut within the AstroGPSLauncher folder to the start menu. TomTom is looking for the software port(Comm 5) and not the hardware port(Comm 4). Made a video of how to configure TomTom within TomTom

Re: ' No Maps Found '' error with TomTom Navigator 6 on Mogul / Titan
I have TomTom 6.030 loaded on my Mogul, which I believe is the latest version available, and I use 4800 for the baud rate and COM4 (also listed are COM7, COM3, Virtual COM9, RIL on COM6 and 7500 IRDA) with Other NMEA GPS receiver. I still have to use GPSLauncher (or similar) or initialize the GPS first with Live or Google Maps. I am using no2chem's 5060 ROM and it sets the GPS program port to COM4 instead of COM5 as was shown in the video. I also use 4800, versus 38400 for baud rate as shown in the video. Works great for me.
The question I would like to know the answer to is if there is a way to edit the registry or a configuration file in order to move the maps to a folder other than the root of the storage card? |
