I bricked my phone I think. I was trying to upgrade from an older DCD rom to DCD 2.21 but I failed to load 2.40 olipro unlocker first; I was still using the 1.20 unlocker. When I start my phone it locks on the "htc smart mobility" screen. I did a hard reset and it seemed to work but when it loads it still locks up on "htc smart mobility" screen. I have never bricked my phone so I am not sure if I am using the term right but it seems to fit.

I work on one of the current presidential nomination campaigns and I kind of need my phone back by Friday if possible. I also have insurance so I could try to go the replacement route through Sprint but I am not sure how long that might take.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hold down the camera and power button and then do a soft reset, this will put it into bootloader mode. You should be able to run the 2.40 unlocker with no problems.Then you should be able to do the DCD ROM. I initially did something similar. Sprint probably wouldn't give you any love for the unofficial flashing.

If you haven't fixed it yet, if you still have the 1.20 unlocker, flash either the Sprint 2.17 ROM from the HTC site, or the "unofficial leaked" Sprint 3.16 ROM.
