No MMS Server
I lost my MMS after I did the DCD 2.1 ROM, honestly it could have been when I did the 2.0, but I didn't notice it until now. I think I've narrowed it down to the problem. I have no MMS server listed in my settings, and it won't let me add one, nor do I know what to put anyway. Could anyone tell me how I am supposed to add it, and what to put in there. It shows MMS in me Outlook but I get random symbols and can't download the message.

Ok, I've found all the other information I need (I think) but I need to know why it won't let me add a server. The "Add" button is grayed out.

Change the Dword data of EnableServerEdit to a 1. Save the change. You should be able to edit the srever now. |
Got it, thanks a lot. I had to install a sprint cab I found for some reason what I entered wouldnt stay, so I did the sprint cab, unlocked the editing and just changed the settings, worked like a charm.

What version are you using?

I am using DCD 2.2 with WM 6.1.

Umm... How about you post the settings that fixed your problem for us? Also what sprint cab did you install and can you post a link to it?

I figured that was irrelevant seeing how it is carrier specific, but sure what I used being on Verizon, as I see you are too was...
Server Name= Verizon Wireless Gateway= (nothing) Port Number= 80 Server Address= http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms Connect Via= (Verizon Wireless should be here as long as it is set up in your connections, it should be selected already) |
Almost didn't catch your edit, sorry. The cab I used was from here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...&highlight=MMS . Were you settings not staying either when you tried to add a server? All I did was install this cab, it made a sprint server, I changed to settings to the ones above a it works perfectly now.
