i remeber seeing a long time ago a reg edit for the voulme to increase i wanted to know if any body knows it because i cant find it

Search for AudioPara.csv,
you will find the needed file. :)

i only find it fot 3.16 igot an orginal rom i dnt mess with fake roms but do u no were a 2.17 version is around

The AudioPara.csv file worked until I updated to the latest rom...now it renders the phone completely silent...

is this for call Volume? Does it control playback volume for videos as well?

there is a reg edit key you can change to update the volume control. i cant remember where i saw it - on one of these forums.
problem is, everytime you did a soft reset, it would revert to original values.
audipara.csv is what you need for a more permenant fix. just make sure to rename and save the orig .csv file in the event you need to revert back.

Awesome, repped for the help, but unfortunately I can't get this to work on my phone. I installed both and soft reset, when I go to edit the volume, it gives me an error that says nueaudio doesn't have access to write to the directory.

Any ideas?:)
