How Much Storage Memory Do YOU Have Left??
I'm just curious about how much of the storage memory most of you use. I have about 85 MB left at the moment.
Sorry for making a stupid thread like this, but I'm just curious as to whether or not most of you really fill up your Mogul with apps, or if you try to keep your storage memory as high as you can... -Touche' |
I'm at 89.8mb free. I put as much as I can on the storage card. Apps and files that deal with the system files or things I need operational in the case of removing my memory card are stored on the device as well. I very rarely remove my storage card though.

Great topic. Traditionally, since the old school days with my 1st Gen Casiopeia back in 1997, I've always kept all data on storage cards. But back then, you had to.
Now that we have actual RAM and ROM on our devices, in addition to storage cards, I find that old habits die hard. My personal Mogul only has boot-time apps (desktop plugins and the like) on my devices memory, whereas I keep all additional applications and music, videos on my Transflash card - a 4gig with about a gig free. Internal memory is at 110 megs free. My work Mogul I'm trying something different - while I have the stock 512meg storage card installed, I keep nothing really on it. I've installed most of the same programs as my personal into this devices MAIN memory. Leaving about 80mgs free. To be honest, its time for me to kick my removable memory dependency. I'm finding that both Moguls' perform about the same and my aversion to using internal storage.....is stupid. |
Storage free 129.34mb and program free 18.84mb. Storage card 177.35/1759.53MB. For some reason I have a habit of installing everything to the storage card regardless if it is media or not. I think its habit from my PPC 6600 where when the battery would do you would lose everything on the device. Good old days.
