tomtom issue - voices
 

Hey guys, I know this issue isn't really applicable to this board, but a lot of guys here use tomtom, and I couldn't find the answer elsewhere.

I installed tomtom 6 a couple days ago, and now the tomtom home software won't recognize my phone. As of now, I'm not worried about that, but I downloaded some voices that I want to install...

Can anyone help me troubleshoot why it won't recognize my device, or tell me if there's a way to manually load voices onto the software? I've tried copying the files into the voice folder, but no luck... any help?

Why not go to PAge 3 of the menu to "TomTom PLUS services", then to Download Voice on page 3 of the Plus services menu?

The 2.x version of TomTom Home wont recognize the install through activesync. You can either take the card out and put it directly into a card reader on the computer, and it will be recognized, or downgrade your Home software to the 1.x version. The 1.x version I believe still see's activesync connections.
