Mogul as Wireless Access Point
 

I have a mogul and an ipod touch. Since there isn't wifi at my work, I was wondering if I could use the mogul as a WAP that my touch could connect too. If so can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

there is a way, do a search in google for mogul as access point or something along those lines and it will return forum links to discussions about it. it is possible though. sorry i couldnt give ya more info

Chainfire has removed the cabs and is not doing anything with it right now. Some thing about legal stuff. His web page is clean nothing on it.

Wow, that's no fun at all - hope his problems get squared away, it was/is such a great app. I use it to get network access on my iPod Touch now and then :D

I believe the attached installer is the latest WMWifi out. I'm not sure though, but it's all I've got.

you should probably remove that link arcanecho, chainfire (the developer) has asked everyone not to distribute the program anymore until he gets some legal issues attended to... he was nice enough to make it and give it away for free, we should be nice enough to not post links to it for a few weeks until he gets it all sorted out.

Yes you can! Very simple to use. . there is a link on youtube that you can use to help you install very sweet program however. I have do not have a wireless router at home so when I home I just turn on the wifi on my phone then connect to it using my laptop. Must have a unlimited data plan. Cost is like 15 bucks a month from Sprint. Instead of using your phone as a modem, it used the internet that your phone accesses and then converts it to wifi so you can us it with your computer any questions let me know.
