This might not be an option for some but I bought a new car head unit that supports BT and love the decision I made.

DCD's 2.3.2 rom has no real changes from 2.3.1 except in the kitchen so probably not if you are refering to the difference between 2.3.2 and 2.3.1.

New ROM 3.35 doesn't work either.
 

Well,
So much for a Sprint update.
I upgraded last night from 2.17 to 3.35 and now my FM transmitter doesn't work again.
Can someone confirm if they got it to work somehow.
I am really getting frustrated with this.

I just upgraded to the official 3.35 rom and my audio out with a seidio adapter works just fine.

I also upgraded to 3.35 and the HTC adaptor that came with it (Split of USB and Headphone) does not work now.

I upgraded to 3.35 and I am listening to music (in stereo) right now via the supplied OEM 2.5mm/usb splitter on a pair of Sony noise canceling earbuds using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. Bluetooth streams music flawlessly via my Parrot MK6100 in the car.

i'm using an adapter that looks just like this one and i get no audio out when plugging into my cars tape player adapter. as soon as i unplug the adapter though i get audio out through the phone speaker.

I'm using the javoedge adapter, hasn't stopped working at all.
